The Legal Boss: My Journey and Philosophy
I started with nothing, fighting every battle myself to build my practice from the ground up. This is the story of how I became the 'Legal Boss' and why I do not back down from a fight.
My full story on Josh Talks. I became a mother at 19 with no support, studied law in secret, and refused alimony to build my own life. I am a fighter, and I am proud to be a self-made woman and lawyer.
Why am I called the 'Boss'? Because I am the boss of my life. I live on my own terms, I lead instead of follow, and I study hard every day for a better future.
A reminder of my identity as 'The Legal Boss'. It comes from knowing what I am capable of and having the courage to execute it.
Success to me is being progressive and raising your own bar. Instead of focusing on the problem, I was taught to raise my standards so high that the problem looks small. That is how I keep moving forward.
My belief system is simple: if there is a problem, there is a solution. Willpower is everything. You must have the drive to say "I want to change this," and as you walk towards that goal, things will change.
Don't just aim to be a good or even the best lawyer, because the best can be replaced. Aim to be a great lawyer. A great lawyer is irreplaceable because they think out of the box and create landmark history.
There is a huge difference between working for money and working for your purpose. I am a person who works for my purpose. An advocate is someone who can think differently and create a landmark.
Receiving the Noble Icon Award outside Hansraj College. This award is a symbol of my growth and a reminder that hard work is always recognized.
Another shot with the Noble Icon Award. Every achievement is a stepping stone and a motivation to keep fighting and growing in this profession.
Early in my career, I was honored to be invited to the American Bar Association's Annual Meeting in Chicago. This international recognition was an important milestone in my legal journey.
About The 'Legal Boss' Journey & Philosophy
My practice is not built on connections, it is built on strategy. Whether you are facing a medical negligence claim or a complex corporate dispute, I do not give you false hope or long, confusing lectures. I analyze the weak points in the opposition's argument and build a concrete, step-by-step roadmap to win.
Being a first-generation lawyer in Delhi NCR is not just about knowing the law. It is about navigating the system without a godfather. When I started, I did not have the luxury of an established family name, so I had to make my own way. This journey taught me that in the courtroom, performance matters more than pedigree.
Why I Fight Differently
My approach is rooted in the reality of the struggle. I have lived the battles I fight for my clients, from handling property disputes to proving medical negligence against large institutions. I do not run behind money. I work for a purpose: to provide honest, aggressive representation for those who need it most.
My Philosophy
I believe in being a 'great' lawyer rather than just a 'good' one. A good lawyer might win a case, but a great lawyer creates a strategy that prevents future litigation. My clients come to me because they want someone who:
- Speaks plain language: No confusing legalese. You will understand exactly what is happening in your case.
- Prioritizes ethics: I do not believe in unethical shortcuts. I build cases on facts and evidence, not drama.
- Respects your time: Whether it is a cheque bounce case or a corporate contract, I move fast.
Whether you are a startup needing a secure contract or a victim of injustice looking for a voice, I bring the same intensity to every file. Let us stop focusing on the problem and start raising your bar.
