About The Glow of Haldi
Haldi ceremonies are messy, beautiful, and often outdoors. That's why I prioritize a lightweight, water-resistant base that won't smudge when you’re laughing or getting covered in haldi. I also handle your floral jewelry setting and pin your saree so you can focus entirely on the fun without worrying about your look.
My Approach to the Haldi Glow
The Haldi ceremony is one of my favorite moments to style because it's so raw and happy. My goal isn't to create a heavy, artificial mask. Instead, I focus on 'no-makeup' makeup—dewy, luminous, and natural.
I use high-quality, sweat-proof foundations that mimic the texture of real skin, ensuring you look fresh in natural daylight. Because this is a ritual that involves getting messy with turmeric paste, I make sure the base is durable and tear-resistant.
More Than Just Makeup
Beyond the foundation, a big part of the Haldi look is how it sits with the accessories. I specialize in:
- Floral Jewelry Setting: Whether you're wearing matha patti or haath phool, I secure them so they stay comfortable throughout the rituals.
- Saree Draping: If you're wearing a traditional Nauvari or a simple silk saree, I provide pre-pleating and industrial-strength pinning, so your pleats don't budge while you're celebrating.
- Hair Styling: From soft, semi-formal curls to side braids, I keep the hair secure yet relaxed, perfect for the upbeat energy of the day.
I’m based in Navi Mumbai but frequently travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and beyond for my brides. My team and I handle the hair, makeup, and draping, so you can enjoy your celebration as a laadachi gaurai (pampered bride) without any stress.
