About Wedding Day Moments
You will often hear me calling out directions during the ceremony—'Light face par, hold!'—to ensure we get the perfect shot without losing the raw emotion. I balance active directing with staying invisible during the rituals, so you get both cinematic portraits and authentic, candid memories of the day.
I believe a wedding is a collection of stories, and my job is to catch the 'ishq ki hawa' (breeze of love) that hangs in the air during the rituals. Whether it is a grand entry under fairy lights or that fleeting, teary look during Vidaai, we use a mix of candid and staged photography to build a complete narrative.
My Approach to Your Big Day
- Cinematic Lighting: We use deep shadows and dramatic lighting to give your photos that movie-like finish. This is especially effective during evening weddings and receptions.
- Directing for Portraits: While I love candid moments, I also know when to step in. I'll guide you into magazine-style poses to ensure you look your best, even when you're tired.
- Planning Ahead: We discuss your venue’s layout beforehand to plan where the best portraits will happen, ensuring we get the perfect shot without eating into your guest time.
The Logistics
I work with a 4-person team to ensure we cover everything from the getting-ready shots to the final departure. We know weddings can be chaotic, so my crew works discreetly during the rituals. If you want a mix of classic, black-and-white elegance and vibrant, bold-colored candid shots, that is exactly what I aim for. We also deliver key 'sneak peek' photos the next morning, so you have something to post while you wait for the full set.
