About Engagements & Roka Ceremonies
When it comes to your Roka or engagement, I am very hands-on with directing. You will hear me often saying, 'Light face par. Hold. Again,' because I want to ensure we capture that genuine spark between you two rather than just a posed photograph. My goal is to catch the raw emotion of the ceremony, whether it is the exchange of rings or the intimate smiles during the rituals, ensuring your photos reflect who you really are.
My approach to engagement and Roka ceremonies balances traditional documentation with a cinematic edge. These events are often intimate, and I believe that requires a focused, agile approach. For these functions, I typically work with a 2-person team, consisting of one candid photographer and one cinematographer. This setup allows us to move naturally through the crowd, capturing candid interactions and stage formalities without feeling intrusive.
I love playing with dramatic lighting and creative monochrome shots to turn simple moments into art. Whether you want magazine-style bridal portraits or that moody, filmy vibe for your couple shots, I guide you through the process to ensure you feel comfortable. I am based in Noida but travel across Delhi NCR for shoots. My style is about keeping the essence of the celebration intact while adding that touch of drama you see in movies.
