About Floral Sculptures for Milestones
When I build these sculptures, I rely on a 'paving' technique. I place hundreds of flower heads directly against one another on custom-fabricated frames with zero gaps. This allows me to create rigid, recognizable shapes like letters, numbers, or even teddy bears that hold their form and impact for days, unlike standard bouquets that rely on loose stems.
Unlike traditional arrangements, these pieces are essentially architectural. I start with a structural base, often using wood or high-density foam, to define the silhouette. Because the underlying frame is hidden, the choice of bloom is critical to the final look. I typically select flowers with a high petal count and sturdy, compact stems, such as roses or chrysanthemums, which are perfect for maintaining shape.
Whether it is a giant initial for a wedding anniversary, a numerical milestone birthday, or a 3D figure for a baby announcement, each piece is designed to be a conversation starter. You are not just sending flowers; you are sending a dense, fully realized object. Because of the level of fabrication involved in creating these frames, I recommend planning at least a few days in advance. This ensures we can match the structural requirements with a floral palette that perfectly fits your celebration in Delhi or Gurgaon.
