There is a quiet power in simplicity. When I focus on a single type of flower, my goal is to explore every texture and nuance of that bloom. Whether it is the playful face of a sunflower or the delicate, waxy petals of an orchid, the design must feel intentional.

The Art of the Mono-Bloom

My approach shifts depending on the flower's natural geometry:

• Architectural Stems: For flowers like Calla Lilies or Orchids, I use clean lines and minimalist vessels to highlight their sculptural form. These work best in modern spaces where the flower serves as a singular, striking feature.
• Lush Volumes: With blooms like Peonies or Hydrangeas, I focus on mass and abundance. These arrangements often benefit from heavy, opaque vessels that ground the volume, allowing the softness of the petals to contrast with the container.
• The Wabi-Sabi Influence: Perfection is not the only goal. I often include wild branches, twigs, or local foliage to give the arrangement movement and a sense of life, ensuring it feels like a living piece of art rather than a rigid factory creation.

Sourcing & Seasonality

I source my materials from a global network, including farms in Holland, Thailand, and select regions in India. This diversity allows me to bring you Phalaenopsis orchids, Dutch tulips, and proteas throughout the year. Because these arrangements are focused on a specific flower type, they are highly sensitive to seasonality; if you have a specific bloom in mind, it is best to check for availability in advance so I can secure the freshest stems from my importers.
