I handle all aspects of the session, including wardrobe, cake arrangements, and themed props, so you only need to bring your baby. Whether we shoot in my Sushant Lok studio or at an outdoor location in Delhi-NCR, I ensure the environment is safe, controlled, and comfortable to keep your child at ease throughout the shoot.
My Approach to First Birthday Photography
I focus on capturing authentic expressions and the genuine chaos of a first birthday. My process combines classic portraiture with the unpredictable nature of a cake smash. We begin with clean, styled portraits—using props like 'ONE' signs, balloons, and rompers—before moving to the messy cake smash portion of the session.
Studio vs. Outdoor Sessions
- Studio Sessions: My studio in Sushant Lok, Gurgaon, is designed for controlled lighting and consistent results. It allows for a wide range of themes, from boho and jungle to classic blue or floral designs. This is where I have full command over props and backdrops.
- Outdoor Sessions: For families preferring natural light and an airy feel, I also conduct shoots in various parks across Delhi-NCR. I bring mobile setups, including teepees and blankets, to recreate a styled look in an open-air environment.
Session Safety and Styling
As a certified photographer, I prioritize baby safety during every shoot. All wardrobe items, including rompers and tutus, are provided as part of the studio services to ensure the outfits fit the theme and your baby’s comfort. I guide you through the theme selection process—whether you prefer a minimalist aesthetic or a vibrant, colorful setup—before you arrive.
If you are interested in extending the session, I also offer 'Splash & Play' tub time add-ons to capture joyful, bubbly reactions following the cake smash, as well as family portrait options that include parents and siblings.
