People often worry about feeling awkward in front of the lens, but that is where the real connection happens. Whether we are at my Ghansoli studio or out on a location shoot across Mumbai, I guide you through posing so you do not have to worry about looking stiff. My focus is always on capturing you, not just the pose.
I built Mumbai Portraits as a space for real stories. My work here represents the mix I love to shoot—from the intricate details of a traditional Maharashtrian portrait to modern, intimate studio sessions. You will notice a variety in these images, which comes from using my studio's 17 different backdrops and advanced lighting gear, or heading out into the city to use natural light.
Every session is a team effort. If you need help with makeup or styling, I connect you with my go-to artists from the #mpfamily. For studio sessions, we have a private changing room and makeup vanity so you can relax between outfit changes. If you are planning an outdoor shoot, I bring my lighting assistant and reflectors to make sure we capture the light just right. My packages are flexible, ranging from 3 hour studio sessions to 6 hour location shoots, and I always ensure you get high-end retouched photos that keep the editing clean and natural.
