About Bangles, Kadas & Bracelets

We build these pieces to last, not just for a single event. Our kadas feature secure screw-lock mechanisms for a comfortable fit, and our bangles use hard-anodized plating that resists the quick tarnishing found in lower-quality imitation jewellery. Whether you are stacking them for a wedding or wearing a single statement piece, the finishing ensures they sit firmly and maintain their shine.

At Krishna Sweta, we treat imitation jewellery as a serious craft. When my father started this journey in Zaveri Bazaar, he taught us that the only real difference between our work and gold jewellery is the base metal. The design process, the stone setting, and the polishing follow the same rigorous standards.

Our Crafting Process

We source most of our bangles and kadas directly from our own karigars in Mumbai, Jaipur, and Kolkata. This allows us to maintain strict quality control:

  • Base & Polish: We use durable, lead-free brass or copper alloys. Our plating options include 1-Gram Gold Polish and Antique Mehndi Polish, which are designed to hold their color through festivals and wedding seasons.
  • Stone Work: We use authentic 'Jadtar' or 'Pachhikam' techniques for our Kundan work, avoiding the plastic pasting that gives imitation jewellery a bad reputation. You will find claw-set stones that remain secure, even with frequent wear.
  • Design Details: We pay attention to the reverse side of our bangles. You will see intricate Meenakari enamel work on the inside, which not only looks beautiful but also prevents the metal from tarnishing against your skin.

Styling Your Collection

Our inventory is designed for versatility.

  • For Weddings: Look for our broad, screw-lock Kadas featuring 'magic doublet' stones or traditional uncut Kundan. These are made to stand out and provide the weight and presence of real gold.
  • For Everyday/Fusion: Our premium bracelets and slimmer Kundan bangles are lightweight enough for all-day wear but polished enough for evening events.

We welcome you to visit our Mumbai showroom if you want to touch and feel the quality of our latest stock. If you are a retailer or buying in bulk, we offer competitive wholesale options with full support for logistics and packaging.

My father spent his life learning the intricate details of jewellery making in Zaveri Bazaar, and today, my brother and I continue that work. We don't just sell; we oversee every bangle, kada, and bracelet that comes out of our workshop to ensure it carries the authentic touch our family is known for.
