I don't believe in over-buffing your natural nail plate just to make extensions last. For wedding sets, I use a specific 'no-buff' technique. This ensures your natural nails stay healthy and strong through the haldi, sangeet, and the final reception. We finish every set with a deep-hydrating 11-in-1 nail oil, so even if you have intricate henna work, your cuticles look polished and clean.
When you have events back-to-back, you need nails that are as durable as they are beautiful. At my Vile Parle studio, I specialize in creating bridal sets that don't chip or lift.
My Bridal Approach
- Russian Manicure: I start every service with a dry Russian manicure using E-file bits. This isn't just about cleaning; it creates a precise, clean canvas that allows me to apply polish right up to the cuticle line. This keeps your nails looking fresh for weeks longer than standard methods.
- Encapsulation: For that multi-dimensional look, I often use encapsulation. Whether you want gold foils, glitter, or dried flowers, I seal them inside the acrylic or gel structure. This keeps the design smooth and snag-free, so you won't catch your nails on your bridal attire or jewelry.
- Customization: Your nails should match your mood and your outfit. If you are wearing traditional colors, we can do 3D acrylic flowers to match your blouse, or keep it elegant with a baby boomer ombre for a soft, sophisticated transition. I am happy to guide you on which shape—coffin, almond, or square—will best complement your finger structure.
