This is what a typical day at the academy looks like. Students get complete hands-on practice with one-on-one guidance to master everything from filing to extension application.
A student's very first attempt at gel overlays. I guide them through every step, from nail prep and filing to the final top coat, building their confidence and skill.
Creating beautiful nails is only half the battle. I also teach my students how to take professional, Instagram-worthy photos and videos of their work to attract clients.
Choosing the right path is important. Here you can see me consulting with prospective students at an expo, helping them understand which of my nail courses best fits their career goals.

About Inside the Academy: Hands-On Learning
You won't find large, impersonal batches here. Every session is designed around the no-buff technique, which I teach because it is faster and leaves the natural nail healthier. I personally stand by your side while you practice, correcting your filing angles and pressure, so you build the right muscle memory from day one.
Learning nails is not just about memorizing theory or watching tutorials online. It is about feeling the file in your hand and understanding the resistance of the nail plate. When you join my academy, you start with the basics of nail anatomy and hygiene, but we move quickly to active practice.
We focus on technical efficiency. For instance, my signature no-buff method ensures that your extension services are not only cleaner but also much quicker to execute. You learn to work with builder gels, acrylics, and polygel under my direct supervision. This eliminates the guesswork. If your apex placement is wrong or your slip layer is uneven, I correct it immediately.
Photography is another critical skill I include in the training. A great set of nails is useless if you cannot capture it properly for your clients. I show you how to stage your hand poses, adjust your lighting, and use your phone to get that professional result you see on social media.
