Each name sign is built on a sturdy MDF base—shaped like clouds or your preferred theme—which keeps the structure solid while the macrame rainbow and hand-painted 3D name add that soft, tactile feel. Since I make these by hand using 100% cotton cords, they are completely kid-friendly and safe for any nursery wall.
How We Make It Real
Every piece is a slow-made labour of love. Because I don't use factory moulds, your sign is unique to your space. The process starts with a laser-cut MDF board which acts as the foundation for the 3D name. From there, I build out the design using:
- Cotton Craft: I use 100% soft cotton cords that are eco-friendly and gentle to the touch.
- Custom Palettes: You have over 25 yarn shades to choose from. Whether you want a dreamy pastel nursery aesthetic or something bold and bright for a playroom, we can match your vision.
- The Details: Most pieces include a yarn-wrapped rainbow arch and stiffened macrame leaf accents that hold their shape perfectly on the wall.
Practical Details for Parents
- Sizing: These generally run between 12x18 inches to 15x20 inches, depending on how long the name is.
- Mounting: Each piece comes ready with an integrated wall mounting hook, so it is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
- Timeline: Since these are entirely handmade by me, I usually need about 25 to 30 days to complete your order. If you have a specific date—like a baby shower or birthday—please reach out early so I can fit you into my schedule.
