Ask Knockout: Real Answers for Practical Self-Defense
Stop watching fake movie moves. I answer your questions about real street fights, weapon defense, and building a warrior mindset that actually works.
In episode 3 of Ask Knockout, I reveal our three-stage formula for teaching self-defense. We progress from dry techniques to role-playing and finally to full-contact sparring to make you the best you can be.
In episode 2 of Ask Knockout, I answer how to overcome the fear of violence. The answer is a three-part preparation: strategic, physical, and emotional. With these in place, you will feel confident and ready, not fearful.
In the first episode of Ask Knockout, I explain how to add weapons to your existing skills. The key is to integrate the weapon into the movements you already know, like using a knife with boxing punches, rather than learning something completely new.
About Ask Knockout: Your Questions Answered
Most self-defense advice online is just for show, and frankly, it will get you hurt in a real street fight. In this series, I don't teach you choreographed routines. Instead, I show you how to take the movements you already have, like a basic jab or cross, and adapt them for chaotic environments using common items as weapons. We focus on a three-stage formula—moving from dry practice to high-pressure roleplay—because physical technique means nothing if you freeze when the heat actually starts.
The fitness industry is full of fluff, but a real fight is brutal, fast, and messy. If you are looking for a gym where you just hit a bag and walk away, this isn't for you. If you want to know how to handle yourself when someone bigger than you corners you, that is where we start.
The Three-Stage Survival Formula
I don't believe in quick fixes. My teaching method is built on three layers:
- Dry Techniques: We start with perfect form. You need to know exactly where to land a palm strike or an elbow before you ever add speed.
- Roleplay Scenarios: This is where most people fail. We simulate verbal threats and surprise attacks in a controlled environment so your brain learns to switch on under stress, not freeze.
- Full-Contact Sparring: This is the ultimate test. I wear protective gear and attack you with real intensity. It forces you to overcome the fear of pain and violence, which is 90% of the battle.
Why Weapons Matter
You do not need to learn a new discipline to use weapons. Whether it is a pen, a belt, or a set of keys, the mechanics are the same as your boxing strikes. If you can throw a punch, you can use an improvised weapon. I show you how to integrate these into your existing muscle memory so you are not thinking about the 'how' when a threat is in front of you.
Real Training for Real People
We train in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Bhopal, and Gwalior, but the approach is the same everywhere. It is about becoming mentally unbreakable. You are not training to be a fighter; you are training to ensure that if a situation ever turns ugly, you have the mindset and the tools to end the threat and go home safely. Stop guessing and start training.
Knockout Fight Club
I don't care about medals or showing off fancy moves that only work in a ring. I teach you how to survive when things actually get ugly on the street.
