Stop Falling for Fake Self-Defense Scams
Most self-defense classes teach you choreography that will get you hurt. I cut through the industry lies to show you what actually works in a real, dirty street fight.
An MMA champion with an 18-0 record was killed on the street because he instinctively tried to grapple with an armed attacker. This is a tragic lesson that sport MMA and real-world fighting are different. On the street, grappling can get you killed.
I get tired of keyboard warriors asking "what if they have a gun?". If you can't even handle a single punch, don't talk like you're in the military. Learn the basics first. For most people, if someone wants your wallet, you give it to them. Don't be a hero.
Does Jiu-Jitsu work in a street fight? Relying only on BJJ is a mistake. Taking a fight to the ground is a huge risk when you don't know if the attacker has a knife or friends. You need to train in everything: striking, grappling, and weapons.
Do leg kicks work on the street? Not really. They are unpredictable and can leave you open to a counter-attack. In real fights, people use their hands. I teach you to stick to what works: punches, palms, and elbows.
Should you go to the gym or do martial arts? This isn't a real choice. Gym training is just one small part of what we do in martial arts. We train for strength, cardio, flexibility, speed, and skill all at once. It's the difference between kindergarten and a PhD.
Hard truth: your gym pump won't save you when you're gassed out in a real fight. A bodybuilder will be gasping for air in one minute, while a trained fighter will just be getting started. I train for fight cardio, not just for looks.
People ask if criminals can learn from my videos. The answer is no. You can't learn to fight by watching videos. Real skill comes from months and years of dedicated training on the mat. A trained person will always have the advantage.
You don't have to like MMA. But don't pretend you'd survive a real fight without any training. Your opinions won't help you when violence is in your face. Only skills will.
Do self-defense techniques actually work? Most are bullshit. A real fight is a chaotic video, not a clean, step-by-step snapshot. I teach you to learn a complete fighting system, not a collection of useless tricks.
Having too many techniques for one situation slows down your reaction time. The best answer to any attack, whether it's a wrist grab, collar grab, or choke, is to hit the person. Learn to punch properly, and you have one solution for a thousand problems.
About Debunking Industry Bullshit
You don't need fancy, twenty-step routines when someone corners you in an alley. Most workshops teach you to react to one specific move, but real fights aren't movies, they are chaotic. At my club, we ditch the choreographed nonsense and teach you one simple rule: keep your hands up and hit back. I show you how to train your instincts so you don't freeze when the pressure is actually on.
People come to me asking about secret moves they saw on social media. Listen, if you need ten steps to defend a wrist grab, you are already in trouble. Real fights happen in seconds, not in slow-motion choreography.
The fitness industry sells you self-defense workshops that promise safety in a day. That is dangerous misinformation. You cannot build the muscle memory required for survival in a weekend. My system focuses on:
- The Principle of Simplicity: We rely on boxing and Muay Thai fundamentals because they work when your adrenaline spikes. When your heart rate hits 180, you forget complex locks. You remember how to punch and move.
- Scenario Training: We put you in chaotic situations. Multiple attackers, tight spaces, or someone grabbing your clothes. You do not practice one move, you practice staying calm enough to land a clean hit.
- Fitness as a Shield: You can have the best technique, but if you are gasping for air after thirty seconds, you are done. We train your lungs to survive the fight, not just look good for a photo.
Stop wasting time on magic moves. Real self-defense is about grit, conditioning, and knowing how to hurt someone before they hurt you. If you are ready to stop playing make-believe and start training for reality, step on the mat at our Delhi or NCR locations. We are not here to make you feel comfortable, we are here to make you dangerous.
