Handcrafted Crochet Torans for Every Tradition
A selection of my most loved crochet work, from devotional Ganpati torans to vibrant floral designs. Each piece is handmade with devotion to bring warmth and color to your home.
This is my most popular Ganpati toran, a design that brings blessings to your doorstep. I carefully crochet each element, from the "ॐ गं गणपतये नमः" text to the bright yellow Ganpati faces and colorful pom-poms, using durable 4-ply acrylic yarn.
My Zendu toran is an all time favorite, especially for festivals like Gudi Padwa, Dasara, and Diwali. The bright orange marigold flowers and green leaves are crocheted to look just like the real thing but will last you for many celebrations to come.
I love making these peacock feather or 'Mor Pankh' torans. The rich blues and greens, combined with delicate pearl beads, create a vibrant and elegant look for any main door or pooja room entrance.
For those who want to welcome spiritual energy into their homes, I create torans with sacred phrases. This "जय जय रघुवीर समर्थ" design is made with a beautiful combination of purple and cream yarn, accented with pearl beads and pom-poms.
It brings me so much joy to see my creations in your homes. This is my Ganpati toran hanging beautifully on a customer's door, ready for the festival. Thank you for sharing this wonderful photo with me.
This traditional 'Moti Toran' shows how I combine geometric crochet patterns with strings of pearls. The festive red and green colors make it a perfect decorative piece for any celebration, adding a classic touch to your home.
This is a little glimpse of the 'Lagin Ghaai' or wedding rush in my home. When you order items for a wedding Rukhwat, like torans or latkans, my workspace gets just as busy and festive as yours.
This door hanging features bright pink lily flowers, each with a pearl at its center. It's a delicate and beautiful design that can brighten up any space, whether it's for a festival or just for daily decor.
About Featured
Because I use durable 4-ply acrylic yarn, every toran here is fully washable and keeps its shape for years. You can reuse these pieces for every festival season, unlike fresh floral decorations that wilt in a day.
For me, crochet is where art meets intention—'जेव्हा कलेला मिळते भक्तीची जोड' (when art gets a touch of devotion). When I create these pieces, I am not just making decor, I am creating something that will welcome blessings into your home.
The designs you see in this collection are my personal favorites. The Ganpati torans, for instance, are very close to my heart. I spend time getting the stitches right for the 3D Ganpati faces and the text to ensure it looks perfect over your door. Because everything is handmade in my home studio, I can pay attention to the little details, like how the pom-poms hang or the exact spacing of the pearl beads.
If you are looking for something for your entrance, I offer a few distinct styles:
- Floral Classics: Marigold (Zendu) and lily torans that look fresh season after season.
- Spiritual Text: Torans featuring mantras like 'श्री स्वामी समर्थ' (Shri Swami Samarth) or specific requests.
- Decorative Patterns: Geometric and beaded designs that add a classic touch to your pooja room or main door.
Planning for a festival? Please let me know early. Since each piece is made to order, giving me a little heads-up allows me to handle the volume and ensure your piece is made with the same love as my early samples.
