These aren't your typical dog park meetups. Join our structured group walks across Tulsa to practice calm, focused obedience in the middle of real-world distractions.

The whole family is welcome on our pack walks! It's a great way for everyone to get involved in the dog's training and enjoy a nice walk together.

This is the dream, right? Having a dog that can just chill with you on a patio or at a park. This video shows some of my graduates doing just that, staying calm and relaxed in public spaces.

Look at that happy face! This pup is enjoying a pack walk at The Gathering Place. These walks are a fantastic outlet for a dog's energy and a great confidence booster.

Practicing real-world skills like safely crossing a street is a key part of our training. Here I am with my dog Floki demonstrating good leash manners in an urban setting.

About this collection

These walks are for past and current training clients only, which makes a huge difference. Because everyone in the pack already understands the basics, we don't have to manage chaos. Instead, we use our time at spots like The Gathering Place or Turkey Mountain to proof your dog's obedience against real distractions, like joggers, cyclists, and heavy traffic, turning a simple walk into a high-level training session.

Think of these pack walks as a 'final exam' for your dog's training. We aren't just out for a stroll; we are actively training.

Why these walks are different

Unlike a free-for-all dog park, where unchecked play can lead to bad habits or anxiety, our sessions are strictly managed. I act as the lead behaviorist, monitoring every interaction to ensure safety and neutrality. We focus on:

  • Real-world neutrality: Teaching your dog to ignore other people and dogs while on leash.
  • Command enforcement: We stop frequently to drill 'Sit,' 'Down,' and 'Place' on park benches or trails.
  • Leash manners: Correcting pulling and reactivity in real-time.

The Logistics

I schedule these based on weather and availability, usually once or twice a month. Since these are high-distraction environments, I require that all participants have a baseline of training with me. If you are a new client, we will need to do a private consultation or bootcamp first to ensure your dog is ready for the pack environment.

We change up our locations to keep things fresh. One week we might be navigating the trails at Turkey Mountain, and the next we could be practicing calm behavior at a busy Tulsa community event. If you want to stop dreading your morning walks and start enjoying them, this is how we get there.

I'm the trainer behind the leash, and I've been in your shoes—struggling with a dog who thinks they rule the world. My goal is to help you cut through the frustration and build a rock-solid bond with your pup, whether we are working in your living room or out on a trail.
