My Approach
I believe in training humans for the dog’s sake. Dog training is rarely a neat process - it’s messy, takes patience, and sometimes feels like two steps forward, one step back. My job is to walk you and your dog through all that mess until you see real change, not just quick fixes.
What I’m Really After
I want your dog calm and confident, able to handle whatever life throws at them. It’s not just about ‘sit’ or ‘stay’; it’s giving your dog structure and a sense of purpose, so you get a better bond and a dog you actually enjoy being around.
How We Get There
Whether you’ve got a wild puppy or a stubborn old-timer, I’ll make a plan just for you. For puppies, I help you set boundaries early - way easier than fixing problems later. For older dogs, we work on obedience: ‘place’ command (total game-changer), loose-leash walking, solid recall, patience at thresholds, and crate training.
Behavior Modification
Some dogs need more help. I handle leash reactivity solutions, fear and anxiety, resource guarding, fights between housemates, jumping, and all the other weird stuff dogs do. We work on building confidence and making life manageable, not perfect.
Real-World Training
We don’t just stick to your living room. I train in-home, at parks, or stores - wherever life happens. That way, your dog learns to be calm and steady anywhere you want to bring them.
Rescue Dogs
Rescue pups have a special place with me. I’ve helped a lot of them go from nervous or wild to confident and ready for a real home. Nothing beats seeing that transformation.
