Water transforms a garden from a static view into a living, breathing experience. We design ponds, pools, and fountains that ground your home, mask urban noise, and invite stillness into your daily life.

A tranquil pool nestled between the wings of a modern house, surrounded by lush tropical plants with red and green foliage. The design creates a private, resort-like escape right at home.

About The Element of Water: Pools, Ponds & Fountains

A water feature is more than a visual anchor; it is a mechanism for climate control and acoustic balance. We engineer our ponds and fountains with advanced filtration systems to ensure they remain mosquito-free and crystal clear, allowing you to enjoy the sound of moving water without the burden of constant maintenance. Whether it is a reflective courtyard pool or a sculptural fountain wall, we integrate these elements so they feel like a natural extension of your home's architecture.

Water is the pulse of a landscape. At Kiasma Studio, we treat water not as mere decoration, but as an essential element of spatial choreography. Our approach to pools, ponds, and fountains is rooted in the practical reality of maintaining them, paired with a desire to create something visually timeless.

Designing for Climate and Sound

In dense urban environments, the primary role of a water feature is often therapeutic. For our project at KEUS, we utilized sculptural Corten steel walls alongside flowing fountains specifically to mask the jarring noise of nearby traffic. The sound of water creates an acoustic shield, turning a commercial space into a calm sanctuary. In residential projects, we use water to temper the heat, creating microclimates that keep outdoor spaces breathable even during peak summer.

The Technical Backbone

Beauty is hollow without function. We often hear concerns about upkeep, particularly regarding stagnant water. We design our systems with high-end filtration and circulation technology—crucial for preventing mosquitoes and ensuring clarity. Our approach to hardscaping ensures that floating pathways or stone decks around your pool or pond are properly graded for drainage, preventing waterlogging and protecting your home’s foundation.

Artistic Integration

Whether it is a dark-tiled, semi-covered swimming pool reflecting a pergola above, or a quiet courtyard fountain framed by tropical foliage, our water features are designed to be focal points. We blur the lines between the built environment and nature by using materials that age gracefully—stone, steel, and concrete. We do not just build a water body; we create a piece of living art that reflects the sky, the greenery, and the life happening around it.
