Vibrant Cultural Wedding Invitations with Heritage Motifs
Your invitation should reflect your roots. From intricate Pichwai art to custom motifs honoring diverse family heritages, we design stationery that turns your cultural traditions into a visual story.
A riot of colors. We absolutely love the vibrancy of this invitation suite that we created to embody a truly South Indian spirit. The design features temple architecture, floral garlands, and a rich, celebratory color palette.
This is another one of our vibrant South Indian designs that we loved working on. The suite includes cards for different events, each with its own unique illustration, from the Nalandu ceremony to the main wedding.
This decor-inspired invitation suite features four distinct cards for different wedding events. Each card has its own color scheme and illustrative style, from a colorful Mehendi to a royal blue Sangeet with peacock motifs.
We loved creating this suite that represents the coming together of two beautiful cultures, Kerala and Karnataka. The design features custom illustrated motifs like the Kathakali crown and Nandi bulls, printed in rich red and gold.
A detailed look at the custom motifs we created for the Kerala and Karnataka fusion wedding. We sketched the Kathakali crown, elephants, and Nandi bulls to serve as a central design element representing the union of the two families.
This card explains the meaning behind the custom illustrated motifs. We believe in thoughtful design that tells a story, and this piece explains how we symbolized Karnataka with the Nandi and Kerala with the Kathakali Kireedam.
This suite was designed to feel like a royal garden, with custom illustrated palace arches and peacocks inspired by the wedding venue. The pastel colors and intricate details create a soft yet regal aesthetic.
About this collection
When families from different cultural backgrounds come together, your stationery shouldn't have to choose one story. We specialize in blending these traditions seamlessly—like merging a Kathakali crown with Nandi bulls—to create a unified design that respects both heritages rather than just placing symbols side by side.
Cultural weddings are vibrant, complex, and deeply personal. Whether you are hosting a traditional South Indian wedding with temple-inspired architecture or a fusion event celebrating two distinct lineages, your invitation acts as the first impression for your guests.
We approach these designs by researching the elements that matter to you. If your ceremony features marigold-heavy decor, we translate that into watercolor illustrations that capture the same lush, festive energy. We work with rich palettes—deep crimsons, royal blues, and temple golds—ensuring that every print retains that vibrancy, whether it's a digital invite sent via WhatsApp or a heavy, textured paper suite for your physical cards.
Our Approach to Cultural Design
- Custom Motif Development: We don't rely on stock libraries. We sketch symbols—like lotus motifs, peacocks, or deities—specifically for your suite, ensuring they align with your event's theme.
- Artistic Mediums: We love using Pichwai-inspired styling for a traditional feel, or pairing modern typography with classic floral borders for a contemporary touch.
- Venue-Inspired Details: If you have a specific venue in mind, we can illustrate its architectural features, like arches or garden paths, to set the scene before guests even arrive.
- Cohesive Storytelling: The design journey extends to all your events. We ensure your Sangeet, Mehendi, and Wedding cards share a consistent visual language while each maintaining its own unique character.
From the choice of 300 GSM textured paper to the final wax seal, every detail is considered. Based in Bengaluru, we work with couples across India to ensure your cultural narrative is captured with care, precision, and a love for the craft.
