Hand-Painted Furniture That Tells a Story
Ditch the beige. I turn plain wooden tables and shelves into vibrant, psychedelic art pieces that bring real character to your home.
My 'Rangchakra' table is a perfect example of my furniture art. The top is a vibrant, psychedelic mandala, while the legs contrast with detailed black-and-white patterns. It’s a functional piece that brings an electrifying energy to any room.
The process of outlining is meditative and crucial. Here, I'm adding crisp black lines to the colorful mandala top of my psychedelic table. This step makes the colors pop and defines the intricate patterns.
This is how it all begins. A plain wooden tabletop gets a base coat of white, creating a blank canvas. Then, I start laying down the base colors in concentric circles, building the foundation for the detailed artwork to come. It's an addictive process.
It's all in the details. A steady hand is key for adding these decorative borders to a custom bookshelf. This finishing touch elevates the piece from just painted furniture to a polished work of art.
A little glimpse into my world while working on this custom bookshelf. You can see the colorful patterns taking shape on the side panels. I love my work, and I hope that joy is visible in every piece I create.
About Hand-Painted Furniture
I don't believe in mass-produced, factory-finish decor, and I'm guessing you don't either. Every piece I paint starts with a deep clean and prime, followed by layers of acrylics and fine-line markers to get those crisp, psychedelic details. When I'm done, it is sealed with a heavy-duty clear coat, so your coffee rings or daily wear won't touch the design underneath.
Whether you have a tired bookshelf or a side table that needs a new personality, I turn wood into art. I never use stencils; it is all freehand. This means your piece will be a true one-of-a-kind original, not a copy-paste design.
My process is simple but thorough. We chat about your vibe—do you want an ethnic mandala, a wild psychedelic pattern, or something botanical? Once we lock the design, I get to work. Because I work from my home studio, I focus on 'pakka kaam'—solid work that lasts. I use professional-grade acrylics and Posca markers to ensure the colors pop and stay bright. Since I never use plastic, you are getting a clean, eco-friendly, hand-painted item.
Since I am based in Hyderabad, if you have furniture you want to revive, we can chat about the logistics for pickup or on-site work for larger items. Remember, my art is addictive—once you have one hand-painted piece, you might just want to replace the whole room.
