A glimpse into our studio where every little artist finds their own rhythm. Here are some of our favourite projects, from clay sculptures to detailed sketches, all crafted by my students.

It fills my heart with so much joy to see my students bring something to life with their own hands. We started with simple balls of clay, and with a little guidance and a lot of imagination, she created this beautiful pair of elephants. This is what my clay modeling and sculpture classes are all about, turning simple materials into a story.

I am always amazed by the depth and focus my students can achieve. This charcoal sketch of Buddha was created by one of my older students, who patiently learned shading techniques to create this peaceful and powerful portrait. It shows how we build skills step by step in my charcoal drawing lessons.

Watching a child get lost in the process of painting is a beautiful thing. Here, my student is carefully blending acrylics to capture the warm colors of a sunrise. My painting classes for children focus on teaching them how to see and mix colors to express their vision on canvas.

Our classroom is always buzzing with happy energy. This is a typical day at our summer art camp, where kids are busy with their oil pastel drawings. I believe in creating a fun, supportive space where every child feels comfortable to explore and create at their own pace.

Sketching is the foundation of so much art, and I teach my students to see the world in lines and shadows. This beautiful pencil portrait was done by a student learning to capture expression and detail. It is a wonderful example of the realistic drawing skills we practice in our weekly lessons.

This piece makes me so proud. A student used oil pastels to create this magical night scene, learning how to blend colors to show the glow of the moon. It is a perfect example of how I guide them to create a full, imaginative world on paper.

We also make art that you can carry with you. In our craft workshops, kids get to design and paint their own personalized keychains. It is a fun, hands-on activity that lets them create a unique piece from start to finish, and they are always so excited to take their creation home.

This collage is a little window into the variety of activities we do, from colorful paintings and detailed pencil sketches to kids proudly showing off their finished work. Every day is a new adventure in creativity, and these happy faces are my biggest reward.

About Featured

I keep my batches small—usually just 4 to 5 kiddos—because art isn't just about finishing a drawing, it is about seeing where each child needs help. Whether we are working on oil pastels for grip correction or clay modeling for motor skills, I make sure every child gets the personal time to build their own style at their own pace.

My Approach to Art

I do not believe in telling a child exactly what to draw. Instead, I show them how to observe and translate what they see onto paper. We start with basic shapes and light strokes, building confidence before moving to complex compositions. This method ensures that the art remains theirs, not a copy of mine.

What We Work On

My studio at Spaze Privy, Sector 72, is a space for exploration. Here is how we divide our time:

  • Drawing & Sketching: We focus on the magic of lines, light, and shadow. Using pencils and charcoal, students learn to capture emotions and textures, whether it's a portrait or a nature scene.
  • Painting: From acrylics on canvas to watercolour blends, we experiment with how colours interact. It is all about finding that 'khushiyan' (happiness) in the mess and the process.
  • Hands-on Crafts: Clay modelling and personalized crafts help kids understand 3D dimensions and improve their motor skills. It gives them a physical object they can take home and be proud of.

Why Small Batches Matter

Art is a deeply personal experience. In a crowded room, it is easy for a child to feel lost or discouraged if their line is not straight or their colour blend is not perfect. By limiting class sizes, I can sit with each student, correct their grip, show them how to handle a brush, or encourage them when they feel stuck. This is not just about teaching them to draw; it is about helping them find their own 'nai raah' (new path) through creativity.

Khushiyan Drawing Classes

I started Khushiyan Drawing Classes after watching my daughter, Divyanshi, paint her dreams. I am just a happy teacher, lucky to be a small part of your child’s creative journey. Every day, my students surprise me with their imagination, and I am here to make sure they enjoy the process as much as the final result.
