I help my students find their own artistic voice, whether they are just starting with crayons or ready to experiment with acrylics. From happy little doodles to detailed portraits, we make it fun, simple, and pressure-free.

Watching a student patiently build layers of color to paint a warm sunrise landscape is so rewarding. In this session, we focused on acrylic painting techniques to blend the colors of the sky and create the mountain silhouette.

To celebrate Independence Day, my students learned watercolor techniques to paint India's iconic monuments. They practiced controlling the water and pigment to create beautiful depictions of the Red Fort and India Gate.

Using oil pastels, we learn how to blend colors to create beautiful, dreamy skies and textured landscapes. This piece shows how we can build a whole village scene, focusing on layering colors to make the buildings and trees pop.

Even on a small surface like this coaster, a child can create a whole world. This video shows the fine motor skills and brush control we practice as this student paints a detailed miniature landscape.

Art can also be about expressing important ideas. For our "Save Earth" theme, this young artist used bright colors to create a powerful image about caring for our planet, showing that even small hands can share a big message.

This adorable penguin drawing was made by a 6-year-old using oil pastels. I taught him how to blend a soft, multi-colored arctic sky and add cute details like the little Santa hat, making it a perfect winter-themed artwork.

Learning to draw animals is a favorite in my class. These two colorful birds were created using pencil colors, where we focused on blending different shades to create a vibrant, feathered look and capture their gentle expressions.

Flowers are a wonderful subject for learning about shape, color, and shading. This beautiful lily was drawn with colored pencils, with a focus on blending yellows and oranges to show how light hits the petals.

Look at the concentration as this student brings a friendly tortoise to life with oil pastels. We work on staying within the lines and choosing bright, happy colors to make the character stand out.

It's wonderful to see each child's unique take on the same subject. This little artist is adding her own creative flair to her tortoise drawing, using a mix of bold colors and patterns.

About Painting & Drawing Adventures

I keep my batches small—usually 5 to 8 kids—so I can actually sit with your child and guide their hand if they are struggling. We don't just copy pictures here. Instead, I teach them the foundational techniques, like blending oil pastels or mixing acrylics, so they can eventually draw whatever is in their own imagination.
