Hands-On Clay & Paper Craft Classes for Kids
Creative, messy, and fun—that’s how we learn. Watch your little one turn a simple ball of clay or a sheet of paper into something they’re proud to hold up and say, "I made this!"
Creating masks is always a hit. In this craft project, my students designed and assembled their own bird masks, using paper cutouts and adding texture to make them look like they have real feathers.
It's pure magic watching my students turn a simple ball of clay into something so full of life. In our clay modeling sessions, we learn to roll, shape, and sculpt, creating adorable animal figures like these loving elephants that they can take home and cherish.
Nothing beats the smiles on their faces when a project comes together. This video shows how we turn simple colored paper into a fun, bobbing duck, a perfect example of our hands-on kids' craft workshops that build both creativity and confidence.
About Hands-On Fun: Clay & Paper Crafts
We keep our groups small, with just 5 to 8 kids per batch, so I can sit with every child and guide their little hands through each fold or sculpt. It is never about copying me perfectly; it is about that specific 'I did it!' moment when a bird mask finally takes shape or an elephant stands on its own four feet for the first time.
At KDAAC in Spaze Privy, Sector 72, we believe art is the best path for a child's overall development. When kids work with clay and paper, they aren't just making crafts; they are building focus, motor skills, and the confidence to try new things.
My approach is simple: sabka pace alag hota hai (everyone has their own pace). Whether your child is 4 or 12, I let their imagination lead the way. In our hands-on clay modeling sessions, we roll, shape, and sculpt, turning grey clay into cute animals like elephants or butterflies. In our paper craft workshops, we learn to cut, fold, and assemble, creating fun 3D objects like bobbing ducks or colorful masks.
Everything is included—the clay, the paper, the glue, and all the tools. You do not need to worry about bringing supplies; just bring your child and their enthusiasm. I make sure that each session is packed with thoda masti (a little fun) because if they are not having fun, they are not really learning. We avoid strict drills and instead focus on step-by-step guidance that feels like play. By the end of our sessions, your child doesn't just go home with a finished art piece; they go home with a boost of pride knowing they created something from scratch.
