Bandaje Falls Trek: Into the Western Ghats

The Bandaje Falls trek is not just about reaching the viewpoint. It is a journey that starts with a night drive from Bangalore, followed by a demanding hike through the Charmadi Ghat region.

The Trek Experience We take you deep into the jungle, where you will cross streams and navigate dense Shola forests before opening up into the famous Bandaje meadows. The final 200 ft drop of the waterfall is where we usually spend most of our time, soaking in the view and catching our breath.

What to Expect

• Terrain: Expect a mix of steep muddy trails and rocky paths. During the monsoon, the leeches are active, so we recommend wearing full-sleeve clothes and trekking pants.
• Logistics: We organize everything from Bangalore, including transport and forest permits. You just bring your backpack and enthusiasm.
• The Vibe: We keep it strictly no alcohol and no smoking. Our trek leaders are part local guides, part storytellers, and always ready to share a joke or help you across a stream.

Safety First We prioritize safety on every batch. Our leaders are trained in first aid, and we always monitor weather conditions in the Western Ghats before setting out. If the trails are too dangerous, we pivot to a safer route nearby. We want you to come back home with memories, not injuries.
