Getting ready for your wedding shouldn't be stressful. I have broken down exactly what you need to do, and what you should definitely avoid, to ensure your skin is calm and ready for your bridal makeup.

Brides, this one is for you. I'm sharing the most important things to avoid right before your wedding day to prevent any last-minute stress and ensure your bridal makeup experience is flawless.

Your bridal glow starts here. Six months before the wedding is the perfect time to establish a consistent skincare routine, consider professional treatments, and focus on a healthy diet and hydration.

At the three-month mark, it's time to finalize your look with your makeup artist. This is also the time to start regular brow shaping and gather inspiration for your hair color.

One month to go. Now is the time to finalize your wedding day timelines, schedule your main beauty appointments like waxing and nails, and get any final hair trims or color touch-ups.

The final week is all about gentle care. Get your final, non-invasive facial, have your nails done, and book a massage. This is also the time for your final brow shaping appointment.

The day before is for rest and hydration. Drink plenty of water, do a light exfoliation and a hydrating face mask, and most importantly, get a good night's sleep for your big day.

About Bridal & Beauty Wisdom

Most people focus on the makeup products, but the real secret to a glowing look is your skin's condition a week before the event. If you start experimenting with new facials or harsh actives right before your wedding, you risk inflammation that no amount of concealer can hide. My advice is always to keep your routine incredibly simple and consistent in those final days.
