Beautifully crafted crochet dresses featuring vibrant peacock feather patterns, hand-stitched pearls, and delicate thread work for your Kanha ji.

A flat-lay view of the classic Mor Pankh poshak, showing the intricate crochet work. The design features peacock feather patterns in royal blue and deep green, with each 'eye' of the feather highlighted by a white pearl.

This video shows the variety within my collections, including a unique white and red Mor Pankh design. It also features some of my colorful rainbow and floral dresses.

About Mor Pankh Poshak (Peacock Feather Designs)

Each peacock feather pattern is not just stitched; I manually thread and knot every pearl at the center of the feather eye to ensure they stay secure even with daily handling and dressing of your deity.

Radhe Radhe! When I design these Mor Pankh dresses, I focus on bringing that vibrant blue and green palette to life through crochet. The peacock feather pattern is iconic, but the real magic is in the texture. I use a combination of popcorn and shell stitches to create a 3D effect on each feather, which adds depth that flat fabric prints cannot replicate.

Since these are for Laddu Gopal, comfort is non-negotiable. I use a soft 4-ply acrylic wool blend for the base to ensure the fabric remains breathable yet holds its shape. Each dress is embellished with small white faux-pearls that I personally sew onto the center of every feather eye. Because these are handmade, I can adjust the ghera (flare) based on your idol's specific size.

Premium sets come with a matching pagdi or mukut, also crochet-worked to match the feather motif. If you are ordering for a festival, please let me know the idol size (typically up to size 6) so I can ensure the drawstring closure fits perfectly. Whether it is for daily puja or a special occasion, these pieces are crafted with patience, just like I do for my own Kanha ji.
