Handcrafted Laddu Gopal Jhullas for Janmashtami
Celebrate Krishna's birth with a custom resin swing for your home. I hand-decorate each jhulla with peacock motifs and delicate flowers to make it perfect for your Kanha.
Here is a detailed look at my decorated Laddu Gopal jhulla. I wanted to capture all the little details, from the pearls on his dress to the tiny cow at the base of the swing.
A complete festive setup for Janmashtami featuring my handmade resin jhulla. The orange and white swing is the centerpiece for Laddu Gopal, surrounded by flowers and his flute.
This video shows the beautiful details of the empty Laddu Gopal jhulla. You can see the shimmering orange and white resin, the golden peacock charm, and the delicate flowers I added.

About Handcrafted Janmashtami Jhullas
Each swing is built to be functional, not just decorative. I use a sturdy three-part structure with a heavy base and arch that remains stable on your mandir shelf. The edges are carefully sanded smooth, so you do not have to worry about snagging your deity's delicate clothes or fabrics during daily rituals.
I design these swings to blend tradition with the modern finish of epoxy resin. Whether you prefer the classic 'Mor Pankh' or peacock theme, or a softer floral aesthetic, the resin allows for a high-gloss, wipe-clean finish that stands up to daily use.
Why I design them this way
- Practical structure: The swing is composed of a heavy base, an overhead arch, and the hanging seat. It is designed to be safe and balanced, fitting Laddu Gopal idols sized 0 to 4 perfectly.
- Thoughtful detailing: I hand-embellish the base with stone work, pearls, and sometimes artificial marigolds to give it a festive, celebratory feel. The gold-polished chains provide a beautiful contrast to the vibrant resin colors.
- Customization: Because I make these by hand, you can choose the color palette. If your mandir follows a specific theme, let me know, and I will try my best to incorporate those shades.
A note on the process
Since I work with epoxy resin, please understand that every piece is unique. Small air bubbles are sometimes part of the curing process and simply show that each jhulla was poured and finished by hand. I take great care to ensure the edges are smooth and safe for your idols, and I always test the balance of the swing before I send it to you. If you need a specific style or have a question about whether your idol size fits, just ask.
