My Approach to Family Milestones

Photography, to me, is about documenting the 'real' in your family. Whether it’s a Namakarana (naming ceremony) or a cradle function, my goal is to blend into the background so you and your guests can just be yourselves. I don't believe in over-posing; I prefer the natural interactions, the shared laughter, and even those quiet, teary-eyed moments that truly define these occasions.

The Process

For most family events, I work with a two-person team. This ensures that while one of us is capturing the cinematic, candid footage of the celebration, the other is securing the traditional group portraits that your parents and grandparents expect to see.

• Traditional Documentation: Ensuring every ritual, from the Aarti to the cradle rocking, is clearly recorded.

The Final Keepsake

I’m a firm believer in the tangible. While I deliver digital files, I highly recommend our handcrafted, flush-mount albums. Seeing your parents flip through a physical book of their grandchild’s ceremony is a completely different experience than scrolling through a gallery on a phone. We design these layouts to be timeless, focusing on high-quality prints that will actually last for generations.
