Why I Fight for Workers

For over 40 years, I’ve been in the courts, taking on cases where employees are pushed around or cheated. Shoshan (exploitation) is everywhere - and I see it most in jobs. If you feel your rights at work aren’t respected, I’m here for you.

Salary Issues & Wage Rights

• Minimum wage violation is rampant, especially in small shops and factories. Many get paid less than the law allows - yeh bilkul gairkanooni hai (this is totally illegal).
• Unpaid salaries break families. I’ve helped teachers, helpers, and contract staff who waited months for their pay.
• Samaan vetan (equal pay for equal work) is not a fancy rule - it’s basic fairness. If you’re doing the same work as others but getting less, I take up those fights.

Job Security & Fair Work

• Many live in constant fear of unfair dismissal claims. Contract workers stay temporary for years, losing out on benefits. I push for contract worker regularization so people get the security they deserve.
• Private school staff face a lot of injustice. I even helped draft a Bill for their job security, because teachers shouldn’t feel disposable.

Standing with Unions

I stand with workers’ union legal support, helping groups like Anganwadi Workers fight for better pay and working conditions.

My Belief

Ladoge tabhi toh milega (You get your rights only if you fight for them). I’m always with you in this struggle for dignity at work.
