Your kitchen should be a space that works for your life, not just a showpiece. I blend custom cabinetry with thoughtful layouts to create kitchens that feel as good as they look.

This is the baking kitchen from my Modern Spanish Home project, designed to be the heart of the home. I created distinct zones for every task, from the farmhouse sink under the window to the tall arched display cabinet. The deep blue cabinetry grounds the space, while the custom arched range hood serves as a stunning focal point.

A breakfast bar is perfect for casual meals and connecting the kitchen to the rest of the home. Here, I used the same statement tile from the kitchen backsplash to create continuity. The leather and wood bar stools add warmth and texture, inviting family and friends to pull up a seat.

This close-up shows the custom arched chimney hood and the built-in nooks I designed to hold everyday cooking essentials. The patterned tile backsplash extends all the way to the ceiling, making a dramatic statement and adding a layer of beautiful detail to this Spanish-inspired kitchen design.

This view from the dining area shows how the breakfast bar creates a social, open connection to the kitchen. The warm leather stools and pendant lights make it an inviting spot, while the open shelves inside can be dressed up as a bar for entertaining.

Before: This was a standard builder-grade galley kitchen. It was functional but lacked personality and felt disconnected from the adjoining utility area.

Before: The original utility space was cramped and cluttered, with a window and door that broke up the flow and limited the potential of the room.

After: The transformation of the Breeze Home kitchen. By removing the door to the utility space and replacing the window, I created one long, cohesive room. The soft blue cabinetry, patterned floor tiles, and brass hardware give the space a fresh, custom feel.

After: A full view of the remodeled galley kitchen. The new layout maximizes storage and counter space, while the patterned floor tile draws the eye through the room, making it feel longer and more spacious. The design is a great example of a small kitchen renovation.

This is the view from the newly integrated utility area back towards the dining room. The open sightline makes the entire apartment feel more connected and spacious, and the beautiful kitchen is now a central feature of the home.

A detail shot of the Breeze Home kitchen, showing the beautiful color of the custom cabinetry. The color was inspired by the patterned floor tiles, and the open wooden shelves add warmth and a place to display personal items.

About Kitchens: The Heart of the Home

When I design a kitchen, I look at how you actually use your counters. For my recent baking-focused project, I carved out a dedicated prep zone with an arched range hood and a farmhouse sink, turning a standard layout into a hardworking sanctuary. I focus on creating these specific zones—whether for baking, meal prep, or socializing—to ensure your kitchen truly supports your daily rhythm.
