What You Make & Take

Why I Do What I Do
I started these workshops because I think making something with your own hands is pretty magical. It’s not just about learning steps - it’s about taking time for yourself, getting a little messy, and walking away with a candle that actually feels like your vibe.
What You’ll Get Out of It
If you’re after a break from the daily bhaag-daud (running around), this is your spot. The vibe here is chill, a place for some real sukoon (peace) where you can just switch off and create. Making candles with natural materials is honestly meditative - you’ll see what I mean.
We go through everything:
- How to melt, mix, and pour using organic beeswax
- Playing with plant-based fragrances for a scented candle that’s all you
- Tricks for making those pretty floral or shell finishes

Hey, I’m Maithili, co-founder at Joy Candles. This whole thing started because of my own health struggles and some wild travels. Saw how folks in the West use aromatherapy for actual healing – not just fancy smells. So we wanted to bring that sukoon (peace) here too.
