Every aerial shot you see here starts with a flight plan. Before the drone even lifts off, I review airspace restrictions and light conditions to ensure we get the right composition, especially in dense urban environments like Mumbai. It is a technical process, but it is the only way to get clean, sharp frames without relying on luck.
My work relies on the intersection of technical precision and natural light. Whether shooting with the Mavic Mini series over Marine Drive or capturing storm fronts from a rooftop in Thane, the objective remains the same: clarity.
I prioritize the Blue Hour and sunset windows. The soft transitions allow for rich color grading without blowing out the highlights of city lights. For night shots, I use long exposure techniques to turn traffic into light trails. This reveals the city as a living, breathing entity rather than just a collection of buildings.
I do not over-process. My signature color grading, often leaning into teal and orange or moody tones, is applied to reduce haze and enhance the atmospheric quality of the image. My goal is to produce images that are accurate to the mood of the moment.
