Playtime is wonderful, but every pup needs a good recharge. Our home offers cool marble floors, sun-drenched patio spots, and quiet corners where your furry baby can drift off feeling completely safe.

Shhh, sleeping babies. Ceaser the Golden Retriever and Gundumani the Pug snuggled up together for an afternoon nap. There's no sight more peaceful than seeing them so comfortable and trusting.

After hours of playing, Leo the Lab and Kenzo the Beagle have finally crashed. Kenzo decided Leo was the perfect pillow. This is what pure, tired-out happiness looks like.

This is Teddy, one of our very first guests. He's so comfortable here that he has no problem showing us his happy, relaxed belly. A dog rolling over like this is a true sign of trust and feeling at home.

Our furry babies love lounging in the sunny spots on the patio. Here are a few of them soaking up the warm December sun after a busy morning. A little sunbathing is part of the daily routine here.

After a 6 am start, afternoons are for siestas. Teddy the Lab and Harvey the Beagle are enjoying a quiet, blissful nap. A sleeping dog is a happy dog, and our home is full of them.

Chilling on a Friday. Borris the Beagle and Maya the Golden Retriever have found the perfect spot on the outdoor swing to rest after a morning of nonstop play. They can't keep their eyes open in the warm sun.

Winter afternoons are for lounging in the sun with a good friend. Here is our granddaughter sharing a quiet moment and a cuddle with one of our gentle Golden Retriever guests.

Every dog who stays with us finds their own favorite spot. Whether it's under the dining table or on a cool patch of floor, they know this house is theirs to enjoy. We love seeing them settle in and make themselves at home.

Little Bobby the Beagle played so hard all day that she just couldn't win her battle with sleep. It's so sweet to see them doze off sitting up, completely tuckered out from all the fun.

Simba the 6-month-old Labrador is a perfect gentleman when he's awake, but when it's time to sleep, he just lets it all go. This is the kind of carefree rest we love to see.

About Cozy Corners & Nap Time

We don’t force naps in crates or separate rooms. Instead, we let the pups choose their own comfort zone, whether it’s a cool patch of our marble floor, a sun-drenched corner on the patio, or tucked away under the dining table. Because our home is completely cage-free, they simply drift off wherever they feel the safest, and we make sure they aren't disturbed while they recharge for the next round of play.
