My Styling Philosophy
People often ask me, 'Jasmeet, how do you pair this with that?'. Honestly, half the time I am just experimenting in front of the mirror.
- Matching vs. Contrast: I get this question so much. Do you prefer matching your jewellery to your outfit or going for a contrast? My take is that contrast adds personality. If you are wearing a plain printed shirt, a pop of colour in your earrings can totally change the vibe.
- The 'Day to Night' Hack: You can easily turn a basic office top into party wear just by adding a statement necklace or switching your small studs for drop earrings.
- Ethnic Glam: When it comes to sarees or lehengas, I love playing with oxidised jhumkas. If the outfit is busy, keep the jewellery simple. If the outfit is plain, go big with mirror work or heavy chandbalis.
