About Ethnic & Festive Glam
Ethnic pieces often come with a trade-off: beauty for weight. Most of my festive collection, especially the mirror-work jhumkas, is engineered to be lightweight so you can dance or attend long functions without needing to take them off after an hour. I personally check the posts and clasp quality before shipping to make sure they sit comfortably for 8+ hours.
When you pick out ethnic jewellery for a shaadi or a festival, the biggest pain is wearing a heavy set that hurts your ears by the end of the night. That is why I focused on balancing the 'heavy look' with 'lightweight materials.'
Most of these pieces use a zinc alloy base with a classic German Silver oxidised polish. It gives you that perfect antique finish without the heft of real silver. A few things to keep in mind to keep them looking new:
- Watch the perfume: Direct contact with perfume can cause instant blackening on oxidised polish. It is always better to wear your jewellery after you have sprayed your perfume.
- Storage is key: Since these are base metal alloys, they do not like moisture. Keep them in a dry place, preferably the pouch provided, rather than leaving them out in the open air.
- Pricing: You will notice my pricing sits between ₹350 and ₹650. This is because I source and finish these pieces myself, cutting out the middleman so you get authentic designs without the retail markup.
Everything here is ready to ship, and I handle the packing myself to ensure the delicate ghungroos and mirrors stay intact during transit. Since this is a one-woman show, I operate on prepaid orders only—no COD, but you get free delivery on orders above ₹600.
