Designing for a mug is different than a poster. Because the surface is curved and small, I focus on maximizing the face detail. I make sure the caricature is crisp and clear so it looks great even when you are holding it close.
Most people order these for birthdays or office farewells. Since a mug is a daily use item, I use a high resolution digital caricature as the base design. I create this from your photos. Once the draft is approved, I handle the transfer onto the ceramic.
I can include personal touches like the recipient's name in Hindi calligraphy, a funny quote, or thematic elements like a favorite sports team or office attire. The final result is a functional piece of art that makes a great keepsake.
For office awards, I often create composite art where I draw multiple team members together. This works well for group gifts or corporate events.
