High-Energy Live Concerts for Festivals and Corporate Events
Big crowds bring their own electricity. Whether you need a set to kick off a college fest or a high-energy performance for a corporate gala, I bring the stage alive with a mix of original music, 90s nostalgia, and today’s chartbusters.
Performing a live cover of 'Pasoori' at IIT Kharagpur's Springfest. The feeling of an entire crowd singing along with such passion is electrifying. This is the energy I bring to every large-scale event.
There's nothing like performing your own song for a huge audience. This was me singing my original, "Saawariya," at Springfest. It was a bliss to connect with such a beautiful and energetic crowd.
Performing my original song "Saawariya" at the India Film Project (IFP) festival. It's always fun to share my own music on a big stage, especially with a brilliant pianist accompanying me.
On the colourful stage at the India Film Project festival. Performing for fellow creators and art lovers always has a special kind of energy.
A close-up from my duo performance at the IFP festival. The joy of making music together on stage is clear to see.
Singing my heart out at the IFP festival. These are the moments I live for, connecting with the audience through my music.
A glimpse from my performance at the Festival at the Steps in Bandra. It was a wonderful community event celebrating art and connection, and I was so happy to share my music there.
About this collection
A big crowd isn't just a number, it’s a living, breathing energy. When I’m on stage, my goal is to bridge the gap between just performing and truly connecting. That means a sound check is non-negotiable for me because if the tech isn't crisp, the vibe just doesn't hit home. I map out a setlist that starts with high-energy hooks to grab everyone’s attention immediately, then flows into sing-along segments where I actually get to hear you back.
Making the Stage Feel Small
When performing for hundreds or thousands, the biggest challenge is making sure the person in the last row feels like they are part of the conversation. I achieve this through a balanced setlist.
- The Hook: I start with high-tempo Bollywood hits or my original tracks that have a strong rhythm. We need to set the pulse right in the first five minutes.
- The Connection: Mid-set, I slow it down. This is where I share the story behind a song, maybe an acoustic version of a 90s classic. It brings the 'Mehfil' energy even to a large stage.
- The Finale: We end on a high—energetic rock fusion or current chartbusters that ensure the crowd leaves with a rush of adrenaline.
Technical Reality Check
For these gigs, sound quality is everything. I work with a 5-piece band, and we need a professional PA system (JBL/RCF or similar) and a 16-channel digital mixer. I always insist on a 60-90 minute sound check before doors open. It isn't just about volume, it’s about ensuring the guitars, drums, and vocals blend perfectly so the audience hears the music, not just noise.
Whether it's a college fest, a corporate product launch, or a large-scale festival, I am here to ensure the performance is consistent, high-energy, and professional from the first chord to the final bow.
Ishaan Nigam
I’m Ishaan. From a small town in Bahraich to the stages of Mumbai, music is my compass. There’s a specific kind of magic when I stand on a stage with my band and a crowd is singing back at me; it’s that connection that keeps me going.
