About this collection
We build these integrated units using 19mm Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) plywood, which ensures your desk stays stable and sag-free even when holding heavy monitors. By combining the wardrobe, shelves, and study table into a single wall unit, we reclaim floor space that usually goes to waste in smaller rooms.
Creating a workspace that doesn't kill your bedroom's relaxing vibe requires more than just buying a separate desk. We focus on 'zone planning' where the bed and the study area are physically distinct but visually unified.
The Material Matters
We avoid the flimsy particle board common in store-bought furniture. Instead, we use 19mm BWR plywood. It stands up to Bangalore’s humidity and handles the weight of heavy desktop setups without bowing. We finish these with 1mm anti-bubble laminates in matte or wood-grain textures, which look modern and hide dust better than glossy finishes.
Layout Strategies for Small Spaces
- The Floor-to-Ceiling Approach: We extend storage all the way to the ceiling above your desk. This prevents dust buildup and gives you a place to tuck away items you don't use daily.
- Lighting Control: A desk in the bedroom can feel clinical. We integrate profile LED strips under the overhead cabinets to provide focused, warm light for your work without flooding the whole room and disrupting your partner.
- The Shared Wall: If space is tight, we design the wardrobe and desk as one continuous unit. This creates a clean, 'hidden' look that stops the room from feeling cramped by too many pieces of disjointed furniture.
