About Live Laser Engraving
I use the portable xTool F1 laser for these setups, which means I only need one standard power socket and a compact table to get started. You do not need to clear a massive space at your venue, whether you are hosting a corporate conference, a product launch, or a private wedding sangeet.
Because the machine is compact, I can fit it into almost any event layout. The core of this service is the live interaction. Unlike generic party favors, this is a show. Guests see the laser working on the surface, and they get to see their name or a custom logo appear on the item in real-time. It takes roughly 30 to 60 seconds per item, so even if you have a crowd, things keep moving quickly.
What I Can Personalize
I primarily work with metal keychains, business card tags, coasters, and water bottles. Metal and wood take the engraving best. If you have specific items you want personalized, send them to me beforehand so I can test the material. I cannot engrave everything, but I am happy to try if it is safe for the laser.
How It Works
- Setup: I arrive early to set up the laser station and the laptop for the design preview.
- Selection: Your guests pick their item and choose their font style from my list.
- Engraving: I run the design through the xTool F1. It is quiet, clean, and includes a smoke purifier, so you do not have to worry about the smell or mess.
- Handover: The guest walks away with a personalized, permanent keepsake immediately.
Practical Details
My packages include 100 base items like metal keychains, or I can engrave your own supplies if you prefer. For weddings, couples often ask for custom hashtags to be engraved alongside guest names. For corporate gigs, we usually engrave the company logo on one side and the guest's name on the other. It is simple, effective, and guests actually keep these items instead of tossing them.
