Behind the Ink: Our Sterile Process and Hygiene Standards
A tattoo is a permanent mark of your journey, and we believe it deserves the utmost care. Here is how we ensure a safe, precise, and intentional experience from the first sketch to the final touch.
A glimpse into my preparation ritual. Every session begins with a focus on hygiene and precision, from wrapping my equipment to ensuring every tool is sterile. This discipline is a critical part of the trust you place in me.
The tools of my trade. Here you can see the inks prepared for a session, ready to be used to create a permanent story on the skin. Every element is carefully chosen for quality and safety.
About Behind the Ink: My Process
Before we pick up a machine, we build a foundation of trust. We use only fresh, single-use needles opened right in front of you, and our equipment is meticulously wrapped to ensure total hygiene. Whether we are using our preferred coil machines for heavy blackwork or precise rotaries for fine lines, every detail is calibrated to your specific skin type and the story you are telling.
Our process starts long before the tattoo session. Every client journey begins with a conversation where we listen to the 'why' behind your design. We do not just apply ink; we interpret your memories, grief, or joys into a visual language.
The Hygiene Promise Safety is the non-negotiable baseline of our art. At our Ghatkopar and Bhiwandi studios, we adhere to strict clinical standards. Every needle, tube, and ink cap is a single-use disposable item. You will see us unseal everything from sterilized packaging in front of you. This is not just a regulatory requirement; it is a mark of respect for you and your skin.
Technical Precision Different tattoos require different tools. For cover-ups that demand deep color packing to mask old ink, we often rely on coil machines. Their weight and hitting pattern allow us to drive pigment deeper for better saturation. For fine-line work or delicate portraits, we switch to quieter, lighter equipment to ensure we can capture subtle details without trauma to the skin.
The Aftercare Journey We do not leave you alone once the needle stops. Whether we have used a second-skin adhesive or traditional dressings, we provide clear, step-by-step instructions. We even offer a free touch-up session within 45 days for specific procedures if the ink does not settle as expected. We want your piece to look as good in ten years as it does today, which is why we monitor the healing process with you.
