Live performances and cultural processions move fast, and there is usually only one chance to get the shot. I approach these events with a run-and-gun mindset, keeping my setup minimal so I can weave through the crowd without being intrusive. This allows me to capture the candid interactions between performers and the audience that a stationary tripod setup would miss.

When shooting traditional festivals or street processions, I prioritize ambient audio and natural light. If the event moves indoors or into low-light settings, I adjust my settings to retain the cinematic look, ensuring the grit and movement of the performance remain intact. For stage productions, I sync my camera work to the rhythm of the performance, using slow-motion and speed-ramping in post-production to highlight specific moments of intensity.

My process involves understanding the schedule and key moments of your event beforehand. Whether it is a high-energy dance show or a solemn traditional ceremony, I aim to create a final film that feels alive and honest.
