Vibrant Oil & Canvas Portraits
Bring your favorite memories to life with rich, colorful strokes. From realistic portraits to modern abstract styles, I paint stories on canvas that truly pop.
From a simple outline to a fully rendered oil painting. This before-and-after shows my process for creating a colorful portrait of Blackpink's Lisa, building up layers of color to achieve a realistic skin tone and texture.
An oil painting of an old Rajasthani woman. I was inspired by the stories her wrinkles tell and used a vibrant color palette to capture the strength and spirit of the culture in her gaze.
A portrait of a Rajasthani man, his magnificent turban painted with thick, textured strokes. The deep blue background makes his weathered features and proud expression stand out.
This painting is titled 'A poor old man'. I wanted to convey a life of hardship and resilience through his expressive eyes and the texture of his beard and turban.
A different vibe entirely. This is a modern, geometric portrait of Taylor Swift, using bold colors and sharp angles. It's a great example of how I can adapt to different artistic styles for a custom piece.
About Vibrant Paintings: Oil & Color
Oil and acrylic paintings require patience, which is why I need at least 15 to 25 days to finish your piece. This window is essential for the paint to cure properly and for me to apply a final gloss varnish that protects your canvas from dust and UV fading, ensuring the colors stay vibrant for years.
Choosing an oil or acrylic painting is a commitment to a piece of art that stands out. Unlike graphite sketches, these mediums allow me to play with deep, saturated colors and textured strokes that make a room come alive. Whether you want a hyper-realistic look or something more abstract and geometric, the process starts by prepping your cotton canvas, then building up layers to get the depth and likeness just right.
Because I work with professional paints, the curing process is critical. I do not rush the drying time because the last thing you want is a painting that gets damaged in the tube during transit. Once it is perfectly dry, I seal it with a varnish layer. This is not just for the shine; it is a protective barrier. Since I ship these across India, I take extra care to roll them with butter paper and protective layers so they arrive in perfect shape.
Keep in mind that these pieces are unframed when they reach you. This gives you the freedom to choose a frame that matches your home decor, whether that is a sleek metallic look or a classic wooden border. If you are looking for a gift or a statement piece for your wall, just let me know your idea. Bas, let us make it happen.
