Handwritten Love Letters and Personal Vows

I turn your words into keepsakes. Whether it is a heartfelt anniversary note or your personal wedding vows, I handwrite them with love, gold ink, and the little details that make them truly yours.

This was the longest love letter I have ever calligraphed, spanning two large sheets of black paper with iridescent gold ink. It was a beautiful challenge to bring such a profound message to life.

The finished piece of a beautiful anniversary poem, "I carry your heart with me". Written in an elegant Copperplate script, it’s a classic and powerful way to express love.

For this Valentine's letter, the client wanted something that felt both classic and personal. I used a dark, elegant script on aged paper with deckled edges, surrounded by wax seals for an old-world romantic feel.

A beautiful note for Valentine's Day, written in a flowing red script on kraft paper. The piece is accented with washi tape, a dried flower, and a custom wax seal on a black envelope.

Another heartfelt Valentine's letter, this time using a vibrant red ink on kraft paper with a delicate gold foil edge. The contrast of the red, gold, and brown paper creates a warm and inviting look.

This custom anniversary note was written in gold on textured black paper with a torn edge. It was a joy to create this special message, which was then placed in a matching black envelope.

About this collection

I don't just write your message; I prepare the paper. Most of these pieces start with selecting the right texture, like ivory or kraft, which I then hand-tear to create those signature deckled edges. If you are opting for the gold-on-black aesthetic, I use a high-quality iridescent ink that captures the light differently depending on how you tilt the paper. It is a slow, tactile process, so it is best to reach out at least two weeks before you need to gift it.

Why a Handwritten Letter Matters

In a world of digital messages, a physical letter holds weight. It is something you can touch, smell, and keep for decades. I often work with people who want to express things that are hard to say aloud—wedding vows, milestone anniversary wishes, or birthday notes for someone who means the world to them.

My Approach to Your Words

When we work together, we are building a piece of art. I use traditional techniques like Copperplate and Engrosser's script to give your text an elegant, timeless look.

  • The Paper: I love using textured cotton paper or sturdy kraft cardstock.
  • The Ink: My go-to is Dr. Ph. Martin's Iridescent Gold—it has a beautiful shimmer that catches the light.
  • The Finishing: To make it feel complete, I add a hand-stamped wax seal and a sprig of dried flowers. It creates that old-world romantic feel that feels very intentional.

How We Get Started

We will chat first about what you want to say. I will share a draft of the layout so we can make sure the tone is right. Once we are both happy, I sit down with my pointed pen and get to work. Whether it is an A4 letter or a piece of framable A3 artwork for your vows, every stroke is done by hand. If you have a specific script in mind, or perhaps a Hindi or Gurmukhi verse you want to include, let me know. I love weaving in my roots and making your message feel closer to home.
