The Material Matters
I am quite particular about the materials. I love the way Sumi ink sits on textured cotton paper, and I think a wax seal is the only way to properly finish a letter. If we are doing a card, I often hand-paint the watercolor background myself using gouache. This means no two pieces are identical.
