Featured Calligraphy and Custom Handmade Keepsakes

From handwritten wedding vows to personalized bridesmaid cards, these pieces capture the stories I have had the privilege to scribe.

This project was for my best friend's wedding, and it holds a special place in my heart. I created these custom bridesmaid proposal cards, matching the pink watercolor wash to her dress. The process involved everything I love: calligraphy, painting, adding gold foil edges, and finishing with a personal wax seal.

There is something magical about turning a digital draft into a tangible scroll of memories. This video shows the journey of a long, heartfelt love letter, handwritten in shimmering gold ink on black paper, creating a truly timeless keepsake.

An anniversary letter is a beautiful way to capture your feelings. For this piece, I used a vibrant red ink on textured, deckled-edge paper, rolled and tied with a silk ribbon and a wax seal. It’s a complete gift, ready to be cherished.

A Valentine's card can be more than just a card. This one features an intricate floral doodle heart, a style I've loved for years. Inside, a personal, handwritten message makes it a deeply personal gift.

I had the honor of working with Bhima Jewelers to create 50 handwritten Diwali letters for their employees. This project shows how a personal touch can make corporate gifting meaningful, helping to strengthen bonds and show appreciation on a larger scale.

Art transcends language, and I love bringing words to life in different scripts. Here is a glimpse of a poem I wrote in Hindi using the Devanagari script, combining traditional calligraphy with a modern, abstract watercolor background.

Sometimes, the beauty is in the simplicity of the words and the elegance of the script. This is a close-up of a poem I scribed for a 10th anniversary, using classic pointed pen calligraphy to let the powerful words shine.

About this collection

Every project here starts with a blank page and a conversation. Whether you choose hand-torn deckled edges or gold foil accents, I want the result to feel like you wrote it yourself. We will sketch out the layout together, ensuring your personal message—be it wedding vows or a heartfelt note—is perfectly balanced before I pick up the pen.

Calligraphy is about more than just handwriting; it is about preservation. I use archival-quality paper and lightfast inks to ensure these pieces last for years. When I work on a commission, I typically stick to Copperplate for formal vows or a relaxed modern script for letters, but I am always happy to experiment with Devanagari or Gurmukhi if that is what connects with your roots.

The Material Matters

I am quite particular about the materials. I love the way Sumi ink sits on textured cotton paper, and I think a wax seal is the only way to properly finish a letter. If we are doing a card, I often hand-paint the watercolor background myself using gouache. This means no two pieces are identical. When you order from me, you are getting something that spent hours on my desk in Bengaluru, not something printed in bulk.

Why Hand-Torn Edges?

Many clients ask about the deckled edges. I tear the paper by hand because it adds a raw, organic feel that perfectly complements the softness of handwritten ink. It makes the piece look like it belongs in a frame rather than a drawer. Whether you are looking for a gift for a loved one or a way to make your corporate gifting stand out, my focus remains on the small details that make the recipient pause.
