About The Party: Crowd & Energy
I read the room in real-time. Whether it is a subtle transition from R&B to a heavy hip-hop beat or sensing exactly when the crowd needs a Bollywood hook to keep the energy up, I adjust the mix instantly. If you want a DJ who actually controls the vibe instead of just hitting play, that is what I bring to every set.
My approach is simple: Be a leader, not a follower. When I am behind the decks at spots like The Gypsy Pub or Shiro, I am not just sticking to a pre-planned list. I am watching the crowd, looking for who is vibing, and deciding the next move based on the energy in the room.
The Set Structure
Most of my performances follow a flow that builds momentum throughout the night:
- Warm Up: I start with Afro Beats, Deep House, or R&B to set a mood that works for dining and conversation.
- The Build: This is where I transition into Commercial Pop and familiar sing-alongs. I start pulling the energy up.
- Peak Hour: This is the main event. High BPM EDM, Hip-Hop, and those heavy Bollywood remixes that keep everyone shouting 'Ek aur?'
Why it Works
I handle the technical side so you don't have to worry about it. I bring my own gear, I know how to use the Pioneer CDJ setups, and I understand how to read a Bangalore crowd. Whether it is a private birthday gig or a corporate event, I treat every floor like a headline performance.
