We create peaceful, dedicated prayer corners that fit perfectly into modern Bangalore apartments, blending traditional elements with smart space-saving storage.

This pooja unit is a beautiful blend of modern and traditional elements. It features a Ganesha graphic on a marble-like panel, hanging brass bells, and built-in seating, creating a complete and serene prayer corner.

A beautiful wall-mounted pooja unit designed with traditional arches and intricate jali work. The hanging bells and multi-level platform provide ample space for idols and prayer essentials in an elegant, compact form.

This pooja mandir, set against a window with a city view, is a perfect urban sanctuary. The traditional wooden structure with intricate jali work and a spacious cabinet below is both beautiful and functional.

Here, I integrated the pooja area into the living room using decorative jali partitions. This design defines the sacred space while keeping it connected to the rest of the home, featuring a golden Krishna idol as the centerpiece.

A compact and modern wall-mounted pooja unit. The design features a laser-cut 'Om' mandala, shelves for small idols, and a cabinet for storage, all illuminated with soft, warm light.

This pooja unit features a beautiful peacock feather motif and is illuminated from within. The multiple shelves are perfect for displaying various idols, and the lower cabinets provide discreet storage.

Another elegant pooja unit design featuring a large peacock feather. The warm wood tones, white countertop, and soft backlighting create a peaceful and inviting spiritual corner.

About this collection

When planning your pooja unit, consider the lighting early. We often use hidden profile lights and warm backlighting behind jali panels to create a glow that does not just illuminate your idols, but sets a calm mood for the entire room, especially in smaller apartments where space is limited.

Designing a pooja space in a Bangalore flat requires finding the right balance between sacred tradition and modern living. We focus on two main approaches: dedicated mandir rooms with grand double doors and space-saving wall-mounted units for living rooms or nooks.

For smaller homes, we prioritize clever storage. Keeping incense, oil, and prayer books hidden behind neat shutters or soft-close drawers is essential to maintain the calm aesthetic. Our wall-mounted designs often include laser-cut jali panels that allow for privacy while maintaining airflow and a sense of connection to the rest of the house.

When it comes to materials, we recommend using BWP plywood for the base, finished with durable laminates that are easy to clean during daily rituals. Lighting is the final piece of the puzzle. Instead of harsh bulbs, we integrate warm LED strips behind panels or inside shelving to create a divine, soft glow. Whether you prefer a minimal white setup with brass accents or a richer wood-finish look, we ensure the design feels like a natural part of your home.
