Abstract & Experimental Digital Art
My digital lab where I merge Mumbai street grit with psychedelic meditation. Here, I create abstract mandalas and my signature 'DelicScape' landscapes, all born from a process of constant experimentation.
Another piece from my 'DelicScape' series, showing a different perspective of the abstract landscape. Here, the sky is a swirling blue, and the neon green foliage is more prominent, creating a vibrant, psychedelic vision of nature.
A variation of my 'DelicScape' art, where I've adjusted the color balance and flow. The swirling patterns in the earth and sky are more defined, showing how I experiment with composition and liquid effects in Procreate.
This 'DelicScape' variation focuses on the earthy tones and textures of the landscape. The swirling brown and orange patterns dominate the foreground, giving the piece a grounded yet fluid and abstract quality.
An experimental piece from my 'प्रयोग आणि निरीक्षण' series. This is a symmetrical, mandala like digital creation with a glowing center, using a vibrant palette of purple, orange, and neon yellow to create a sense of electric energy.
A monochromatic take on my experimental mandala designs. For this piece, I focused on a purple and grey color scheme, exploring how form and pattern interact without the influence of multiple bright colors.
This is another experimental mandala, this time using a stark green, white, and black palette. The design has a sharp, almost tribal feel, showing the versatility of the symmetrical patterns I create.
About Abstract & Experimental Art
When I work on these digital pieces, I do not use stock brushes or generic filters. I take my Procreate sketches—the ones that start as hand-drawn wildstyle ideas—and push them into these abstract, symmetrical, or landscape forms. If you are looking to commission this, just know that I work on a re-sketch basis. We pick the concept, I create the initial structure, and we refine the colors together. It is a back and forth, not a send me an email and wait transaction.
How I Approach Digital Abstract Art
My approach to digital art is the same as my approach to a concrete wall in a Mumbai alleyway: experiment and observe. I don't just sit and click buttons.
The 'DelicScape' Series: These pieces are heavily inspired by the Sahyadri hills and the chaotic beauty of the city. I manipulate liquid effects, color balances, and textures to create a landscape that feels fluid and organic. It is not a photo-realistic representation of nature; it is how nature feels when the mind is drifting.
The Mandala & Symmetry Work: For the mandalas and experimental patterns, I play with geometry. Using Procreate, I map out complex, symmetrical designs that use high-contrast color palettes like neon greens, electric purples, and deep blacks. These are meant to catch the eye immediately. Whether it is for a digital display, album art, or just a psychedelic print, the goal is to make the viewer pause and look closer.
The Technical Process:
- Tools: I work primarily on Procreate for the hand-drawn elements, sometimes bringing in AI tools to add texture or layering for a more 'trippy' depth.
- Deliverables: You get high-res files suitable for 4K screens or A3 prints.
- Collaborative Flow: Because this is experimental, I always start with a style frame. We agree on the 'vibe' (colors, intensity, mood) before I commit to the final render. This saves both of us time and ensures you get exactly the trippy visual you were imagining.
