About Waterfall Fun & River Crossings
When we hit the trail, the waterfall stop is usually the highlight for everyone. We know exactly which spots near Nethravathi or Kudremukha are safe for a dip, so you can just enjoy the cold water and rinse off the trail mud without a second thought. Just remember to bring a change of clothes because you will definitely get soaked.
More than just hiking
We believe a trek isn't complete without a bit of water fun. Whether it is the stunning Soormane waterfalls or crossing streams in the dense forests of the Western Ghats, we build these moments into our weekend plans. These aren't just photo stops, they are where the group really bonds after a long climb.
Safety first, fun always
We know the monsoon turns these trails into wild places. Our trek leads are always with the group, and we pick locations that are safe for swimming and crossing. If the river flow is too high or the currents look risky, we always have a Plan B. Our goal is for you to have a blast, but we prioritize your safety above getting that perfect shot.
What to expect on our water treks:
- Safe Dip Spots: We avoid dangerous ledges and guide you to natural pools that are shallow and calm.
- River Crossings: In the monsoon, you will often find yourself crossing streams. We use ropes and guide support to ensure everyone gets across comfortably.
- All-Inclusive Logistics: From the moment we leave HSR Layout until we return to Bangalore, we handle the permits, transport, and guide fees. You just bring your gear and a towel.
A quick tip for your trip
Always pack a dry bag or a large plastic cover inside your backpack. The Western Ghats get very wet, and your electronics will thank you for the extra protection. If you are joining us for a weekend trek, bring sturdy shoes with a good grip because the rocks around the waterfalls get slippery.
