Uttari Betta Sunrise Trek
Transport & Logistics
- Vehicle: Shared seat in a Non-AC Tempo Traveller (12-seater) or Mini-Bus.
- Route: Round trip Bangalore to Bangalore (approx. 160km total).
- Pickups: Designated stops at HSR Layout, Marathahalli, Tin Factory, Hebbal, and Yeshvantpur.
- Timing: Night departure (approx. 11:30 PM) to reach base camp by 4:00 AM.
Food & Beverage
- Breakfast: One South-Indian vegetarian meal (Idli/Vada with Sambar) at a highway restaurant on the return leg.
- Beverage: One tea or coffee included with breakfast.
Trek Details
- Support: One trek leader for route navigation and group coordination.
- Safety: Basic First Aid kit available with the leader.
- Fees: Includes local entry and parking charges (excludes Forest Dept fees if regulations change).
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate, suitable for beginners.
Skandagiri Trek (With Official Permit)
Permits & Access
- Guaranteed Permit: Includes official online booking for Skandagiri (Kalavara Durga) slots which are typically sold out.
- Check-post Handling: Management of digital entry formalities at the forest base.
Transport & Logistics
- Vehicle: Shared seating in a Tempo Traveller or similar group vehicle.
- Timing: Departure between 11:00 PM and 12:00 AM to ensure entry at check-post opening (4:00 AM).
- Inclusions: Driver allowance, tolls, and parking fees.
Food & Beverage
- Breakfast: Standard vegetarian breakfast stop on the return journey (approx. 9:00 AM).
Trek Details
- Support: Experienced trek coordinator and mandatory government forest guard assigned to the batch.
- Views: Access to the specific peak known for the 'ocean of clouds' phenomenon.
