Bring a contemporary, sophisticated touch to your event stationery. I design refined invitations using translucent vellum, soft pastels, and hand-pressed wax seals to create a lasting first impression.

About this collection

These designs rely on layering, which changes how guests interact with your invite. I use 150 GSM translucent vellum to wrap 300 GSM inserts, creating a soft, diffused look that makes your typography feel airy rather than heavy. Because each wax seal is hand-pressed, there is a production time involved, so if you are planning a large guest list, we should finalize your design at least three weeks before you intend to mail them.

The modern elegance collection is built for those who want a wedding invitation that feels light, romantic, and intentional. While standard printing focuses on layout, my approach here focuses on texture and the 'unboxing' experience.

Why Vellum and Wax Work Together

The combination of vellum overlays and wax seals creates a tactile experience. You can see the main invite details through the translucent paper, which builds anticipation as the guest pulls the card from the envelope. I typically pair these with organza ribbons or dried elements like baby's breath to keep the aesthetic earthy and ethereal rather than overly formal.

Customization Options

  • Typography & Foil: We can use gold or silver foil on the vellum itself, which catches the light differently than standard ink. This works exceptionally well for names or date headers.
  • Wax Seals: These are not just decorative. I use custom stamps to press the wax, meaning you can have your initials, a botanical motif, or a specific symbol stamped onto every envelope.
  • Paper Weight: Even within this minimal style, the paper weight matters. I stick to 300 GSM for the main insert so it feels substantial in the hand, ensuring the card does not bend or feel flimsy when pulled out of the vellum jacket.

What to Consider

  • Color Palette: These designs shine with soft pastels. Think lavender, sage green, or dusty rose. If you have a specific color theme for your wedding, I can match the wax and the ribbon to tie everything together.
  • Shipping: Since these suites often involve delicate elements like ribbons or seals, I use protective packaging to ensure they arrive at your guests' homes in the same condition they left my workshop here in Bengaluru.
